If LinkedIn is your home base, consider having a “field office” on another platform. Put a different way, I tend to think of Twitter as a crowded bar, where lots of different conversations are happening all at once. I may listen in for a few minutes or stop and say hello to someone I’ve seen there before. When I can convert them into a LinkedIn connection, it feels like inviting someone to a quiet coffee shop. I can get to know them better, and we are more likely to chat next time we cross paths there.
